DANBIO is the Danish research register for rheumatologic diseases (arthritis, etc.) for monitoring clinical quality and facilitating research at the national, regional, and hospital levels. At present, about 60 000 patients are followed in DANBIO with more than 100 000 patient visits recorded yearly. More than 75 papers have been published with research based on DANBIO data. DANBIO supports both the capture of PROM data from the patient at home (with NemID login) as well as the conduction of GCP-compliant research protocols due to built-in eCRF functionality. It was developed in a participatory design process with the Gastroenterological department at Aalborg Hospital and has become an integral part of daily clinical work. Like DANBIO, Gastrobio supports both the capture of PROM data from the patient at home (with NemID login) as well as the conduction of GCP-compliant research protocols due to built-in eCRF functionality.
Funded by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 programme, ELECTOR is a multinational consortium developing an eHealth platform that advances patient-centered disease management for rheumatoid arthritis. The solution combines clinical knowhow, a selftesting device for disease biomarkers and a BYOD app to allow patients to monitor their disease activity from home and alerts their hospital in the event of a significant change in disease activity. ZiteLab's contribution is the CE-marked and FHIRbased patient app and HCP platform. See elector.eu for more. Learn more ›
