About The Ministry of the Interior and Health of Denmark
The Ministry of the Interior and Health of Denmark oversees all aspects of healthcare in Denmark, including hospitals, medical treatments, dispensaries, patient rights, healthcare data collection and medical and research ethics.
The ministry consists of a department (including the National Genome Center), as well as the institutions, Danish Health Authority, Danish Medicines Agency, Danish Patient Safety Authority, Danish Health Data Authority, Statens Serum Institut (SSI), Secretariat of the Council of Ethics, and the National Science Ethics Committee.
