This week, Denmark’s Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, Morten Bødskov, is leading a major business delegation to China to strengthen dialogue on one of Denmark’s most important export markets. With life science as a key focus, the delegation brings together leading Danish companies, including ALK, Dansk Erhverv, DI - Dansk Industri, Novo Nordisk, Ambu A/S, Pharmacosmos, LEO Pharma, and Lundbeck.
Healthcare Denmark is proud to be among the organizing forces behind the visit, in close collaboration with the Danish Royal Embassy in China. Together, we are bringing stakeholders together for open and constructive dialogue on market access, innovation, and the conditions and possibilities for Danish companies operating in China.
Program highlights across the life science value chain. The visit engages key parts of the life science ecosystem. The program includes, among other activities:
- Zhongguancun Life Science Park, one of Beijing’s leading life science innovation hubs, showcasing innovation environments and opportunities for collaboration.
- Dialogue with the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), focusing on intellectual property, recent policy and legislative developments, and issues of importance to Danish business in China.
- Peking University People’s Hospital, with discussions on clinical trials, research, and hospital collaboration, including a hospital tour and exchanges with clinical and research leaders.
A platform for long-term collaboration
The delegation underlines Denmark’s ambition to maintain a strong, forward-looking partnership with China through open and constructive engagement.
