Mental health is a challenge for countries all around the world, and more than 10% of the world’s population live with a mental health disorder. In Denmark, we have successfully used digital solutions for psychiatry such as apps and telepsychiatry to reach more people with fewer resources. Furthermore, our new psychiatric hospitals are designed to hinder suicide attempts and use healing architecture to promote mental wellbeing. Stigma is a key issue when it comes to mental health, and we are working hard to break down stigma through national campaigns.
